High-quality early childhood care and programming make a massive difference throughout a child's life. Community Children's Center is on a mission to revolutionize early childhood. Through our facilities, programs, and support, we are more than just a building. We are dedicated to changing the face of early childhood in Douglas County, Kansas.

The Community Children's Center at 346 Maine St. in Lawrence, KS provides:

• A Family Resource Center to navigate families to support services

• An indoor play area for children birth through five

• Early intervention support for parents and child care providers

• An early childhood clothing closet providing gently used 0-5T and maternity clothes, shoes, and early childhood equipment

• A donation center for Douglas County families to repurpose their early childhood clothing and gear

The quality of the first five years of a child's life are critical and demands our community's attention. Community Children's Center is committed to finding new and innovative solutions to create an early childhood safety net for Douglas County. We cannot do it without you.
